In 2009, Bobby Austin had a vision: to bring professional-quality epoxy flooring and concrete solutions to Louisiana homeowners and businesses without the premium price tag of national chains.
What started as a one-man operation with a truck and a commitment to excellence has grown into one of the most trusted flooring companies across St. Tammany and Tangipahoa Parishes.
Today, Innovative Floors and Outdoors is a full-service, family-owned business that has completed over 500 installations—transforming garages, basements, patios, warehouses, and commercial spaces across our region.
Bobby didn’t stumble into this business by accident. With a background in construction and a deep understanding of Louisiana’s unique climate and building challenges, he recognized a gap in the market. Major flooring companies were cutting corners with cheap materials and rushed installations. Smaller local contractors lacked the expertise or reliability that homeowners and businesses deserved.
